Banner for china front event

Our goal for this event is a similar mentality and level of authenticity. We intend to hike approximately 10-15miles over the course of two days following Japanese army practices, conduct small unit drills, general camp practices, etc. The event will be styled after the long marches Japanese soldiers made during the pursuit of the Kuomintang forces after the collapse of the the Shanghai-Nanking front and the drive south by the North China Area Army in a bid to capture the important rail junction of Zhengzhou in late 1937 and early 1938.

2023 Calendar is being finalized.

Previous Events

In the aftermath of the Russian Revolution, the Entente desperately required the newly formed Russian state to continue its obligations to the war effort. However, following the October Revolution and signals of a separate peace, the Entente realized this was but a dream. In late 1918 and early 1919, the allies launched a full scale invasion of Russia under a variety of political and military purposes. French, British, Japanese, American, Chinese, Italian, and many more “minor” nations sent troops to intervene on behalf of the Czech Legion and the “white” Russian troops. This event aims to capture some of the initial multinational surge in a first-person style immersion event.

At the height of Japanese success in the South Seas Campaign came the first Anglo-American counter attack against the thus far undefeated Japanese Army on a little island chain in the Solomon Islands. It would be on Guadalcanal where the US Marines delivered the first check to the “Invincible” Japanese steamroller.  This campaigner level event seeks to immerse participants in the build up to the initial major clash on the Lunga Perimeter between Japanese Hirota Co./2/124 and US Marine L/3/5.

In 1945, the Soviet Red Army launched one of the largest and most ambitious military operations of the entire Second World War, not in Germany but in Manchuria. Covering thousands of miles in wilderness, desert, snow, mountains, and amphibious assault, 1.5 million Red Army troops, thousands of aircraft and vehicles poured across the Manchurian border against an unprepared, and dilapidated Kanto-Gun (Kwantung Army) and their allies. This event focuses on the major offensive that took place on the same battlefield as the 1939 Nomonhan Incident. In the heat of the desert sun, the Soviets and Japanese forces will clash once again!
